Don't know who these people moaning are but the bread is great, best in Marseille, + made by people who clearly love making bread, and the staff are always friendly to me, maybe because i'm not behaving like an axxhole
The place is nice and the staff is sympa, but please remove the no gluten tag. This is a regular bakery, nothing in there can possibly be free of gluten contamination and safe for celiac people.
My last day in France and I found the best boulanger to me in france! This croissant was incredible! 😍 yummy!!! …
My favorite bakery in Marseille..fresh baked and ready to go. Pric3s are well within value...
Friendly service. Buttery flakey crispy croissant would compete well with croissants of Copenhagen (yeah one of the high class bakery capitals). Loved the brioche with chocolate and hazelnuts. Addictive. Good thing I only discovered it my last day in Marseille (this time around).
I initially went there to try the cinnamon roll but they didn’t have any so I tried the croissant and the pain au chocolat and they were very good and buttery!
I’ve seen some comments about the price, but I think the price is fair to be honest (1,20€ for a croissant/pain au chocolat)! The lady that served me was very nice as well!
I also tried the cinnamon roll, it was amazing!!
Such a pain indeed!! The cinnamon buns were almost as expensive as in the airport of Stockholm, Sweden.. and I don't think cinnamon is a more expensive staple in France than in Sweden! Besides, the person working there was as sour as the breads he was selling. When told that the cinnamon buns were expensive he then did not even care to answer when I asked him if they baked cardamon buns too. At the same time, the person behind him was staring at me from the kitchen so I asked my question again to which he told: "No, we don't do it, besides there are people waiting behind you so you should leave the place"... I hadn't even had the time to put my gloves on and take my "pain au chocolat"...
Very unwelcoming and very cold. Try Café Salvator instead in the same neighborhood or Maison Saint-Honoré a bit further away - they are expensive as well but at least the people working there are very kind and helpful and the quality is the same, if not better (there are even more baked goods and breads to choose from if you get there early enough).
This is one of the best bakeries in marseille in my opinion - almond croissant was 10/10
